Neurotraveling. Teratraveling. Some good, solid sitting around time. Bring me a good conversation about quantum theory and the nature of reaity, oh, and a few drinks and/or shrubs, and I'm a happy man. ; )
What to say about meeting people. There are so many diverse people out there. And, equally as many reasons to meet them. Of course, this is a great way to network with people for progressing in music, and that could in turn, lead to making some friends. Sharing creative ideas about music, art, "The Ultimate Question", and many other things will help all of us to collectively grow and evolve into more inteligent and aware creatures. Now, an extremely valid and important (but, for me, the least understood) part of this evolution is the meeting of people on a more intimate level. When it comes to this, I am very open-minded, up-front, and ready to explore. Perhaps to gain that understanding, which so covertly eludes me.
I respect and appreciate all music. However, not all of it resonates with me. Like Country, for instance. Especially the Pop Country. A song may start out nice, with some great guitar riffs or melodies. But, as soon as the twang of the singers voice comes in, I am inclined to turn it off. There are exceptions, of course, like Alison Krauss. The most beautiful Country singer ever. Now, I don't mean to just point out Country. It is but one example. There is far to much music and the dynamics surrounding it to explain here. But, that leaves room for good conversation starters.
