adaptable and variable. nothing in particular at the moment beyond a few hobbies: collecting nihonto, creating an army of kumas, reading books, tomes, folios, and librams, hanging out with friends and good people, and watching movies. although according to vinnie, i also have the most eclectic and nonsensical collection of odds and ends hes ever seen.
people who like to go out to do things instead of being a bump on a log in front of a computer all weekend long, who wont toss aside friendship at the first imagined transgression or provocation because its just an excuse, and who havent succumbed to the entire trendy hipster scene in l.a and remained true to themselves. im also looking for people who are fun to hang out with, who can hold a good, intelligent conversation about whatever topic comes into play, who are witty and playful, and most of all.. people who are loyal and honest. because lately it seems to be lacking in todays society and among the more youthful generation. it seems that people have forgotten that trust and respect are earned and are not merely assumed.. and are quite fragile bonds that should be cherished instead of tossed asunder. Update: oh yes. and someone to amuse me. ;) zenghen on aim ;)
yes, once in a while. there seems to be a decent collection here that people like to borrow or rip, however nothing in the past few years outside of a few cds. while i dont listen to music as often as i used to, i still have periods of musical frenzy to suit my moods.
yes, quite a bit. according to friends and sociable acquaintances, its an eccentric taste of great thought provoking movies that reflect a commentary on life, society, and all that drivel... to soso blah movies that waste time and take nothing outside base autonomous functions of the body to watch... down to.. i cant believe you watch this crap winnie. :P although according to some friends.. its a majority of the latter classification.
yes, theyre quite nice arent they. fascinating invention.. whoever thought that it was possible to create a box with flashing images and sound, that slowly creates a nation of flipping idiots.
oh my yes, quite a lot of them. everything from classical to historical to medical to comical to fantastical to informational to philosophical to the merely whimsical. and so on. theres also quite a few cook books, art books, and books on other cultures. theres even a decent collection on neil gaiman, nihonto, and ancient and medieval history here if youre really that interested. basically theres a room devoted to transforming itself into a library in my little cave.
anyone who puts honor, loyalty, and responsibility above all else. the story of chushingura for example.
