------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------------------------- During the course of his career as a producer, writer, and musician, Robert Bond has been continually expanding upon a diverse musical perspective that has been acquired with an ear for excellence and innovation, while collecting and honing new ideas that twist and shape the listener's expectations.

Robert began Classical piano studies at age 6, moving on to his passion for drums a few years later. His hometown musical roots in Nashville grew into studies of Classical, Jazz, and Indian music at Indiana University followed by extended periods living in New York, London, and Berlin. He has performed with musicians who defined new boundaries in classic American music such as Bo Diddley, Sleepy LaBeef and Vassar Clements while alternatively playing with the New York Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and recording for the BBC in London. Robert has produced, written, and recorded for Japanese Pop star Hitoe, remixed Polish Jazz diva Anna Maria Jopek and written/recorded with Hammond B3 wiz Moe Denham in the U.S. He has recorded in collaboration with jazz stars Les McCann and Chico Freeman. Robert composed and recorded film scores for Metro Films/TV Polonia in Poland and author Max Lucado/Thomas Nelson Publishing in the U.S. As an artist/producer, he has recorded for the legendary Rough Trade label in the U.K. and been played on The Weather Channel cable network.

Robert's work as an Electronica artist and his underground credentials can be heard on various independent releases including The Project, where he brought together a host of guest musicians including the duo of Bush guitarist Nigel Pulsford and country singing legend Charlie Louvin in a beautiful Downtempo track. In 2008, he continues to move forward as an artist through ongoing creative endeavors. He can be heard on the dPulse/Sony/BMG album by Electronica artist 3kStatic, "Wheres Our Piece of the Groove World", featuring funk master George Clinton. Robert collaborated as guest writer, programmer, and performer on the album. He has written and produced for progressive Bluegrass artist Judith Edelman on her breakout Trip Hop track "Frozen", released on the Songs For Choice compilation CD. Robert can also be heard as a solo artist on Songs For Choice with his track "Team B". His current projects include his solo release on dPulse/Sony/BMG, Textures, including his work with Joy Askew of the Peter Gabriel band. He is presently in Poland preparing a live project featuring a blend of original Chill Electronica via laptop/drum kit/African drummers. Robert divides his time between Nashville and Warsaw.
