Sirsa

Miss Sirsa had a very international upbringing. As a child she spent all her summers abroad and always knew what was on the charts in Europe. She calls her taste in music "cosmopolitan", and likes music only created between 1980 and 2030. Her songs have been featured in many TV shows and films from "One Tree Hill" (WB), "Summerland"(WB) and "Las Vegas" (NBC) to a Disney movie and independent films. You can hear her Eastern roots as the featured singer in the trailer of upcoming Miramax blockbuster The Warrior. (www.apple.com/trailers/miramax/thewarrior.) Sirsa is also a respected songwriter and she co-wrote the French/English song "This Time", with French/Tunisian recording artist Zera Vaughan (Zeravaughan.com).Sirsa goes cuckoo for her new duo, Beauty Supply, which is with close friend and classically-trained pianist/producer Ross Leitner. Sirsa's voice will lead the way of Beauty Supply's red/turquoise blue groovy songs, as they hit the LA scene in spring 2007. Sirsa also independently hosts and produces her own radio show "Tongue and Chic" on KLAS FM, Los Angeles. "Tongue and Chic", features "groove, grit, color and candy music for the cosmopolitan people." She interviews chic tigers on her show and is always digging out expressive tracks with style. When she's not creating music, Sirsa loves to cook for her "mates," and DJ at chic venues around town. Sirsa DJ's at the LA Women's Music Festival, Saturday August 25th.
