DONNA LYNNE CHAMPLIN is an award winning Broadway actress, singer, dancer, writer, musician and stand up comedienne. She lives in NYC and is currently enjoying her new foray into the land of TV, film and commercials. BROADWAY: Sweeney Todd, Hollywood Arms, By Jeeves, James Joyce's The Dead. DLC RECENTLY AND RIGHT NOW:
DL recently created the role of "The Mother' in THE MYSTERIES OF HARRIS BURDICK at the Barrington Stage where she was thrilled to be reunited with her good friend and brilliant director/playwright Joe Calarco.
Just prior, DLC was in Pgh playing 'Georgie' in THE FULL MONTY at the PCLO and also was awarded the prestigious OBIE award for her Off Bway performance as "Cora" in William Inge's THE DARK AT THE TOP OF THE STAIRS at the Transport Group (where she was previously seen in the drama desk award winning productions of FIRST LADY SUITE and THE AUDIENCE). DL just wrapped shooting on the feature film MY FATHER'S WILL here in NYC and was a guest artist for the American Theatre Wing's SPRINGBOARD NYC program (http://www.americantheatrewing.org/springboardnyc/). She also reprised her role of 'Sunshine' in the workshop of HAROLD AND MAUDE at the Off Bway Snapple Theatre and created the role of 'Irene' in the pre Bway workshop concert of THE MOLLY MAGUIRES at the Kirby Center for the Performing Arts.
DLC UPCOMING GIGS:
*** DL will be the entertainment for the PRINCESS GRACE FOUNDATION 25th anniversary Gala at Sothebys on Octber 25th at 8pm. She will be performing with Savion Glover for an audience of royalty both literally and artistically.

DLC FINISHING THE HAT:
DLC's one woman show FINISHING THE HAT's most recent performance was at the legendary BIRDLAND in NYC on September 30th, 2007. She also recently had a wonderful time at her alma mater of CMU teaching acting master classes for a few days this past winter. She also had a blast moonlighting at the PCLO Cabaret Late Night series with her college buddy Jason Coll for a couple shows of FTH in Pittsburgh!
