Myspace Layout Generator by TheMyspaceLayout.com
Scott Tonic is a talented DJ, Producer & Remixer who divides his time between London and Brighton. He has been DJ'ing and buying music house music in all its forms for the last 10 years, and honing his production skills for the last 8.
He earned his first residency playing House & Garage at Brighton's seminal 'Nu Garage Central', playing alongside the likes of Bobby & Steve, Danny Foster, Tuff Jam, Dreem Teem, MJ Cole, & The Stanton Warriors. During this time, other achievements of note included headlining the 'Ultimate Street Car' Festival, playing various London clubs & virtually every venue on the south coast.
He signed his first record deal with HoneyBeat Records at the age of 18, DJ'd for the Dreem Teem at the launch of their cable TV show 'That Dreem Teem Thing' and also played in Ibiza (Es Paradis/Club Summum) and Corfu at after parties for the legendary 'La Cosa Nostra'.
He currently holds a weekly residency in Brighton, and because of his versatile dj'ing style has regular guest spots all over the city playing House, Garage or Electro at clubs such as the Funky Buddha Lounge and others.
Scott's current musical project is with none other than House & Garage legend Matt 'Jam' Lamont & is proving to be a very fruitful collaboration indeed, with a whole load of tracks already completed and heavily in demand. Under the moniker Kings Of Swing, & in little more than 6 months, they have done official remix work for TAIO CRUZ, ROSIE GAINES, GODWIN, RAMSEY AND FEN & New York singer MJ WHITE, as well as many more.
This is all in addition to their own projects; a host of mixes for American girl group ANYTHING BUT MONDAY, another soulful house project with MJ WHITE, a Jackin' House project, production for vocalist XAVIER, and 3 EP's of material signed to other labels, as well as many more original tracks covering every form of house music from Garage to Electro & beyond.
