Six Balls One

LOOKING BACK SBO started in 2001 when four music addicted guys decided to start a new band after some years of playing punkrock in different combinations. After a few refreshing rehearsals they grabbed their hearts, sticks, and plecs and recorded the first 6-song demo Quick and brite, (un)fortunately they sold all copies of these fast, kicking tracks in the next two years. Playing a bunch of shows in the beautiful Mnsterland and in the periphery of the Ruhrgebiet they made it up to be known in the local punkrock and hardcore community and even won a little newcomer contest called Ruhrtour in 2004.
NEW TUNES, NEW TOWNS AND CHANGES Shortly after recording new songs the bassplayer left the band, so the songs of this recording never saw the warming light of our fast passing days. Just two weeks after losing the bassplayer they got ten new fingers and a new face at four-string. Manifesting their teamworking ability the guys played several shows throughout the following year. At a time when all of the four were really well into the set, they entered the studio again to record the new songs. By the way one can say that the music is now performed on a higher level and the songs are really varied. The drums are precise and energetic. The guitars and the vocals are melodic but also pumping angry and defiant. Further this fourpiece wont shrink back from melancholic moments, little crazy guitar licking or a healthy hard edge.
BACK TO THE FUTURE As the four are really satisfied with their songs they would burn to play lots of shows and get in contact with many of you nice people to make new experiences. So dont hesitate get in contact with this Dortmund city punkrock outfit as soon as you can!!!
