Bio.
Dem Souf Soulja's started off a couple of years ago. We meet by attending a church called The Pentecostals of Gainesville. Slick moved from Sierra Vista, Arizona to Gainesville, Florida due to some family medical reasons. Slick was just another kid trying to fit in. One day he was introduced to a kid named Norman, which called himself R.O.C. at the time. After a couple of months they were acquainted and Slick was interested in the rap music that R.O.C. created Slick invited him over to record with one mic and Sound Recorder. After a while Slick began to write some rhymes. One day he shared one with the word slick in it and from that point on they called him Slick.
A long period of time passed, Slick and R.O.C. became better in rapping and in studio equipment. April 14, 2002 Slick was baptized. From that point on Dem Souf Soulja's music began climbing the hill to success. Slick began buying studio equipment and R.O.C. kept on working with Fruity Loops creating instrumentals. The music all seemed good in their eyes and then one day they decided to take it to the next level. While they were updating they knew they had to make many changes in not just their rapping life but also their personal life.
After all these changes they went through and are still going through R.O.C. began to think about his name. With a couple of days of thinking he changed his name from R.O.C. to C – Life. He says the purpose of that change was to many people have that name. C – Life then became to meaning “Christ’s Lifeâ€. Dem Souf Soulja’s are still striving to climb the hill of success but everyday are getting a little closer and closer. They are dedicated to serving the Lord in not just their words but also through out there daily life’s. The main purpose of the whole D.S.S. squad is to let people know they can listen to “hype†music and be edifying the Lord at the same exact time.
