In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Then God created Blessed House.
Blessed House is a hip-hop duo residing in Leeds. Members Guest House and Bibs have been rapping since the age of 16/17, but started to focus on rap at 18/19. Now both 22, the last 12 months have seen the holy members spreading their gospel with gigs around Leeds, Buxton, Camebridge and Huddesfield. Most recently gaining a support slot at the nationwide renowned "New Bohemia" hip hop night in Leeds representing the Leeds Hip Hop scene showcase. Blessed House are currently involved in 2 projects:
First off is the Organised Mess / Blessed House combination accumulating in a 7 track e.p hopefully completed, mixed and mastered by spring 2008. Organised mess are a group of 4 beat makers from Leeds who are also involved with acts such as the "Unsgined artists". Involved in the Blessed House Live Sermons at a club near you is the scratch fiend "Majestyk" on the decks, now involved with the live shows.
.Second project is with the co-founder of Emergency Services, beat-maker and dj, Figure of Wax...."Figure" has recently received his first national air play on bbc radio 6 and catch him on the grind in Buxton or Brighton orchestrating from behind the decks. Only demos have been recorded for this project with again a small e.p the final goal. Finally Blessed House and Majestyk have started running a Leeds Based
HIP-HOP night called DEEP CUTS. A once a month showcase of the raw type ish from acts up and down the country but mainly for up and coming acts to come and showcase their talent. Check the page for details and how to get involved or send a demo over. Peace and love...."THE HOLY MEMEBERS"
