I love art. I am involved in both disciplines of art Fine Art and Graphic Art. My father was a sign painter and a fine artist , so I picked up alot of information about art from a young age. I am a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
I would like to meet C. F. Payne who is an amazing illustrator. I would also like to meet Don Wood, Kay Chorao, Floyd Cooper, Ann Kullberg, Bernard Poulin, and so many more phenomenal artists.I am also interested in networking with other artists.
I have a very eclectic tastes in music. I like Disco, Funk, Rock, Cajun and Zydeco, Blues, Jazz, Classical. Some of the music artists that I enjoy listening to are: The BEEGEES, ABBA, K.C. and the Sunshine Band, Gosh Groban, Bonnie Raitt, Cher, Madonna, Savage Garden, Indigo Girls, Celine Dion, Ingrid, Joan Osborne, Neil Diamond, The Monkeys, Enrique Iglesias, Blondie, Cyndy Lauper, Nelly Furtado, Vince Gill, Trisha Yearwood, and so many more that I just don't have room for them all.
My favorite movies are mostly of the human interest genre; Forrest Gump, How to Make an American Quilt, Schindler's List, On Golden Pond, and Ray. I am intrigued by the artistry of the Director M. Night Shamalayan (?) of the movies-The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable. I thought that the movie Unbreakable was very thought provoking.
I've enjoyed The Sopranos and Six Feet Under.
Most of my reading is related to fine art or graphic arts. Although I do find the subject of psychology quite interesting.
I am very intrigued by creative and confident people. People that have created their own path in life and don't allow the cultural norms from keeping them from being who they want to be.
