i am prolific, but picasso is still going to kick my ass in lifetime pieces. i paint in acrylics because im impatient. i usually work on 10 or 12 paintings at once. i dont paint as much as i want, because i have a full time job and 4 incredible daughters. i want a solo show in new york. i paint girls (obviously) for a lot of different reasons. mainly i guess its because i am one.
i have too many interests to name. but for this myspace, my interest is making art, meeting artists, showing my work, and hoping someone will notice it and put it in a gallery, or better yet, buy it. that rules. i thank god for color. i love it.
yes, i do commissions. if you are interested in that, let me know. for portraiture,i work from photographs and appreciate being given a lot of artistic license. prices vary by size, usually starting at about $400-$500.

i am influenced by folk art of all kinds, from all places & untrained artists. my favorite artists are kahlo, klimt, modigliani, lempicka, chagall, klee, miro, rivera, and all iconographers. most of my inspiration comes from art, and my heart.
