My name is Andrew and I'm a 25 year old college student living in Seattle, Washington.

Starving Artist Collective began in July of 2006 with a little creative inspiration from my wife.

The hope in creating S.A.C. was, and continues to be to bring artists from all walks of life and all levels of success together to showcase their work, critique, network, gain exposure, and interact.

Anyone can join and all are encouraged to participate! Most importantly, this is everyone's site.

Display Your Work.

You can show your work on S.A.C. using one of the following methods:

(1)The most common way people post their work is by embedding it in a comment. Please note: files large in size tend to be distracting.

(2)If you would like to have your own spot in our artist gallery (see blog section ) you may send your work to me at:

After I recieve your work, I will create your personal gallery post. Be sure to include your name and any of the following details you would like added:

· city/state/country

· contact details

· a brief bio

· website url

· a photo of yourself

S.A.C. Featured Artist!

Once a month I will choose an up-and-coming artist who excels at their work to become S.A.C.'s Featured Artist.

The featured artist's work will be reposted in the section below and a bulletin will be sent out which will include their bio, links, and contact information. Also, a piece of their work will be selected by myself or by them to be used as S.A.C.'s default picture. Anyone who submits work, be it in the comment box or in the gallery itself is eligible.
