Springintgut has been supported by STEIM (Amsterdam) developing a software instrument called "Fello 1.0" which is solely controlled by the sound input of the cello. Also, he composes theater and film scores. His studio is in a forest near Hamburg / Germany.
The name Springintgut is a streetname in the town of Lueneburg and at the same time a blend of the German fairytale characters Springinsfeld and Tunichtgut . For those who don't happen to be familiar with this: just focus on the spring - part of the name ! That's about it.
