My name is Dave, I live in Liverpool where I work as a freelance sound engineer. I started playing drums when I was 13 which started off a massive interest in music and I've ended up working in Live sound.
When Im in Liverpool I work at the Carling Academy and Im currently sniffing out as much touring work as I can. Spent last summer doing monitors for Echo and the Bunnymen around all the festivals which was great, and went to the Ukraine with the Bodyrockers in the autumn. It was ace seeing what the world was like 20 years ago! haha
My life really involves doing gigs, my girlfriend (when she's not whining at me to clean things), seeing my mates and generally enjoying myself! I like cooking and drinking. I make good curry. Especialy Biryani.
Im currently working for The Wombats who are a brilliant band if you're not familiar with them, and an absolutely lovely bunch of guys. Im at various parts around the country/world so if someone who I havn't seen in a while is reading this have a look at their tour dates and see if Im around your neck of the woods as I love to see familiar faces on tour!
