Mea Culpa formed in the summer of 2003 through 5 friends mutual pursuit of creating something truly original and dissatisfaction with the over-saturation of “style over substance†music people are forced to swallow.
Various member changes have challenged the band, but the line-up is now solidified in its current state.
Mea Culpa are poised to take it to the next level and are willing to play anywhere, to anyone that will listen. Gigs have seen them play around the U.K, supporting the likes of Breather Resist, Pig Destroyer, Horse The Band, Throwdown and playing alongside such great up and coming U.K bands as Meet Me In St Louis, Burning Skies, Patience Cleveland, Sika Redem, Ella, Shaped by Fate, Chariots, Symmetry, Azriel, Exit Ten and Devil Sold His Soul (check ALL of them out).
With the imminent arrival of a new recording, Mea Culpa are coming armed with shit yourself low-end and huge expansive soundscapes which will move you to question the current image of heavy music.
