Ahmed Jade Harrate, better known in the musical scene as D'Gey Jade, was born in Rabat/Morocco in 1986. He grew up in a musical traditional family, full of singers & musicians of Andalusian music, Eastern & Opera music. At the end of 90's (1997 exactly), he begins to discover Electronic Music, and has the irresistible desire to become a DJ.
But until he can offer to himself some real hardware, he studied Music sol-fa and viola. At home he also plays a few notes on his sister's piano, some Lute and even some Derbouka...
A few time after that, he discovered "Eejay", that great software that made thousands of people happy! He created two tracks on it, but he got quickly weary of it, because of the pre-created songs. Jade wanted to create his own song from A to Z; this way his can add his touch, his emotions...
He also discovered Virtual Dj thanks to a friend of him. He tried it, loved it, mastered it, but it was not the “Virtual†career that he wanted to make, so he left it.
On April/May 2005, the same friend that showed him Virtual Dj, gave him a website address where he met Yacine Soufiane - and many other Producers - who confirmed to Jade that the Producing' softwares which he's been dreaming' of do really exist. He got one of them, trained on it using' the priceless advices Yacine gave him. And then, he began the Production.
This way, Jade... (Maybe should we say D'Gey Jade now)... This way, D'Gey Jade began Producing', and one of his strongest dreams came true, giving' him the chance to express & share his ideas and emotions through his Music.
