Soul Selector, Inc. was founded in November of 2003 and is the home of the SOUL SELECTOR DJs. WE BREAK RECORDS. WE SUPPORT THE MUSIC COMMUNITY AT LARGE BY STANDING UP FOR THE UNDERDOG AND KEEPING THINGS RIGHT AND EXACT WITH THE BIG DOGS! As a trade organization, SOUL SELECTOR DJs provide an array of services and resources for our members. In addition, Artist, producers, record labels both major and independent have also become an important component of the Soul Selector organization. Several professional level programs are offered through Soul Selector DJs that assist music industry professionals create the necessary relationships as well as acquire needed resources and information to move their respective careers forward. It has been noted that Soul Selector DJs have assisted in "Tearing Down The Velvet Rope", by allowing artist, DJs and producers to cultivate one-on-one relationships. No longer do artist need to go through tons of red tape to get in touch with REAL LIVE "WORKING-PROFESSIONAL" DJs. In addition we have a membership of 115 DJs (currently) that play ALL GENRES of music and they have all agreed to support good music by playing it for FREE. "Good" music is based on the DJs personal taste nothing more or less. Don't get it twisted Soul Selectors is a business and we do provide services that are associated with fees however we don't do PAY TO PLAY tactics. Soul Selector DJs also sponsor and instruct an array programs for youth (12-18yrs.) that have an interest in the music business.
