DJ REESE
The Man! His Life! His Destiny!
Please allow me to introduce myself Maurice Davis aka DJ Reese "YA NEW FAVORITE DJ". This one time basement DJ is now rocking the mic and spinning records with some of the hottest DJs in the industry, and still manages to set the party ablaze once i put the needle to the record.
I started out having a love for music at an early age. I was introduced to the world of two turntables and a mixer by my mom who was a mom by day but a DJ by night. Early in my childhood i was djing at high schools and neighborhood events. Over the next few years i flirted with the idea of making a career out of making people dance.
May 1999 was the turning point when i transformed my hobby into my DESTINY! Since that time i have catapulted onto the Chicago Nightlife scene. My style of DJing has its own swagger. It is vibrant, electrifying, and close to perfection. The key to my success is that i feel the crowd and satisfie the people with a great presentation. Some people have been taught the fundamentals of being a disc jockey, but this type of talent comes second nature, without thought, to this up and coming pioneer.
In the short timeframe that i have been a professional disc jockey DJ Reese i have had the honor of being deemed DJ of the Year 2005 Award from Club Jaguar.I have produced several mix tapes as well as hosting some of the music industries up and coming artists. I have also had the honor of working with several of the top Promoters in the Chicagoland Area. Some recent events that DJ Reese has had the pleasure to serve was Thanksgiving in the Mall 2006 at the Ford City Shopping Mall; one of the top Chicagoland Urban Malls, New Year's Eve at Club Zentra; one of the leading clubs in the Chicago's night-life. He has also been privileged to be a DJ to the stars, for example; Flavor Flav, Trina, Shawnna, Twista,Dawayne Wade, Bobby Simmons and Lil Kim, to name a few.
DJ Reese is also the CEO of Big Boi Inc, and the VP of Chi-Ill Records. Currently, i am adamantly pursuing a full time career in the Entertainment Arena. DJing will be the foot in the door for much more to come.
