WHO AM I? Well this is something that I don't normally do (talk about myself on and on), but I will do it just this one time for you. My name is Joan (not a common name- I know)...bday is December 29, 1984. When people ask me, "What are you?", my response is: Italian, Polish, Irish, and German. I was born in Long Island (wish I still lived there so I could be a lot closer to NYC); But, I was raised in dirty Jersey and I reside in Toms River a.k.a "The Joyzey Shore" haha...with my parents, younger sister, who is the complete opposite of me, and my crazy-ass pets...1 dog and 2 cats, or should I say 1 beast, 1 scaredy cat, and 1 cat better known as "shitter," "white trash" and "crazy." I don't think I could ever live anywhere else because I love the clubs/bars, beach and boardwalk too much.
LOVE: Summer...Laying on the beach for 8 hours a day...being in the water when it's like 90 degrees outside...walking on the boardwalk (preferably Seaside haha), going to clubs and bars with my friends...Bamboo...Jenks...Sawmill...Bar-A...Ashes...Abyss and tons of others..watchin' drunk people dance...like to get a lil' drunk...ok, I lied..VERY drunk...Red Bull and Vodka...Malibu Bay Breeze..new shots I love are the Kamikaze and Starbursts, NOT being D.D.,FOOD (in general lol)...Italian food rocks...and I am willing to TRY any kind of Seafood...I love it!, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (with Whip Cream), any show on MTV, NYC...wish I lived there..I feel like somehow I meant to be there right now, listening to ol' school music, blasting Bad Boy Joe CD's in my car...like the song "Pump it Up" haha, not having to live in the "real world"...like workin' a full time job...paying bills haha.
HATE: Bitches...you know who you are, Liars, people who USE other people, NOT being able to understand the complicated species know as a "man," snow...used to love it as a kid...but not know when I actually have to clean off my car, condiments...ketchup...mustard...mayonnaise... waking up early...just let me sleep till 11, traffic...can't people just stay home?, when so-called rappers call rap "The GAME"...rap isn't a fcukin' game, always wanting to go out on the weekends...when in reality, I will probably only go out one nite.
WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO JOAN?Ever since I turned 21, everyone I know says that I "CRACKED," meaning that when I turned the big 2-1, I suddenly wanted to go out all the time to bars and clubs to drink and have fun with my friends (And don't worry, I'm still like that...oh yeah, if you do see me at a bar or club, you will most likely NOT see me dancing, unless I am really drunk...and if you do see me dancing, you will probably see me doing the GUIDO FIST PUMP). You are probably wondering why they say that and I will tell you why; It's because that when I was in highschool I rarely drank and partied... well, actually I didn't at all. But now, it's like an addiction...I love it...haha. I have never been to a club in the city, but I want to go to one a.s.a.p.. Favorite drinks are Red Bull and Vodka and Malibu Bay Breeze...can't taste the alcohol and I don't get tired, which is always a good thing...so, if you see me out, you will probably see me have that "DRUNK SMILE" on my face with a drink in one hand and my shoes in the other...cause heels and me don't mix...oooohhh...and for all you so called "men" at the clubs and bars, when you say "excuse me" to get past me, do not even think about touching me anywhere on my body at the same exact time...I don't know you, so don't touch me!
HOW DO PEOPLE SEE ME? (WHAT I'M REALLY LIKE) I am definitely a quiet and reserved girl when you first meet me, but after you get to know me, you will see that I am a very sarcastic girl who loves to joke around and who loves to laugh until I start to have tears running down my face. When I am with a group of people who don't know me...and my "Big Poppa" or "Warning" ringtone by Biggie goes off...everyone is in total SHOCK...because from the outside, they would never expect me listen to that music...but i love it. Huge procrastinator...wait till' the last minute to do everything. Don't say what's on my mind...when I really should. Sometimes I let people walk all over me...which is something that I need to work on. Always learn things the hard way...I guess my mind likes it that way. Night owl...if i could sleep all day, I probably would and I would stay out all night. Recently realized that some people change and some people don't...and for both those kind of people, it can be a good or bad thing. In the past year, I have changed...and I don't know if that is a good or bad thing in my life right now.
DREAMS OF MINE: Live and/or work in the city (If you don't know what the city is, you better figure it out)...visit Italy...and OWN a beach house. Hopefully, I can make one of those come true in my lifetime.
MUSIC IS MY LIFE: The one thing that I could not live without in my life is music; music is a part of my life everyday (Got an IPOD for christmas- the best thing ever)...if you ask me "what kind of music do you like?", I will tell you that I listen to and appreciate any kind of music (I am not gonna list a million artists or genres because you will probably get tired from reading all of them)...at this moment, I am really into ol' school hip hop and rap...wish Biggie and Tupac were still alive...I've been to tons and tons of concerts, which is another obsession I have (Live music is the best).
EDUCATION: Currently, I attend Cabrini College in PA...will hopefully be graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in May so I can teach elementary school in Jersey, but I really don't know what I want to do once I graduate. I just want to have a career that makes me happy and a comfortable paycheck wouldn't be so bad either. Right now, I feel like I am in a transitional stage in my life...and I don't know what the world is going to hand me once college is over...who knows what I 'll be doing and where I will be.
BOYFRIEND? A boyfriend at this present time in my life is non-existent, but that can change if the right guy comes along my way...I don't have a "type" of guy that I look for...but I do have some things that I like about guys. Love guys who can make me laugh, whether they are trying or not...tattoos and piercings are hot (just not on the entire body)...and no, looks are not everything to me...a guy who has some goals in his life is a pos...a guy who could cook is another pos, cause I don't (I gotta learn how to cook real soon though)...hate guys who play games...as my friends would tell you, I do not like cocky bastards...one more final thought on you "boys," I hardly ever make the first move.
