About Me
I began my club experience when I was just 18 years old. The energy, driven by the music, fascinated me. I spent two years working the club scene as a promoter. The year I turned 21 I laid my first piece of vinyl onto a turntable. The skills came easy to me, and after only two months, I nailed my first public appearance opening for none else than the legend, Jonathan Peters, at a club in Providence, Rhode Island called Pulse. I continued that gig every 1st Friday of the month for about 8 months. A short time after that, I found my first residency at The Hall in South Orange, NJ every Saturday Night. It was there that learned how to work a crowd and really understand the music. That fall I met Ray Trosa and took my second residency at the famous Tunnel in NYC. The Tunnel was forced to close a few years later, but I found my home in NYC. I played at many Venues under the name,"The Great White Hope," including, Eugenes, Float, China Club, Hush, One51, Discotheque, Creme, and Lobby. From 2002 to 2003, I held a residency at the infamous trendy spot, Saci, where thousands danced to the what I describe as energetic and uplifting sets. Some of my other residencies in NJ included the trendy, Pazzo Pazzo and The Barn, known for its crazy Thursday Nights. I contribute my style and energy to my Inspirations and Industry Influences of Denny Tsettos, Junior Vasquez, Jonathon Peters, Danny Tenaglia, Victor Calderone, Jason Ojeda, and Richie Santana. Even though I play Hip-Hop sets the NYC scene drastically changed to a Hip-Hop Genre, and I am looking forward to coming back to Jersey, where House music has always been appreciated and always will be. Currently I am the resident dj and head promoter at 46 Lounge in Totowa,NJ.As for me, personally, I am a very happy married man, to my beautiful wife, Jackie. I have 3 daughters, Lia, Emma, and Ava, and I can never get enough of watching them grow up. I enjoy my life, my family, and of course my music very much.
