About Me

There aren't many DJs in today's world of music that can claim technical mastery of the lost art of DJing. MightyMike, on the other hand, can blend, scratch, cut, mix, and combine all of these traits with a musical sensibility that can accommodate people of any class, race, and culture; ultimately making him one of the most sought after DJs in Atlanta.

A Native of Nigeria, DJ MightyMike (formerly known as DJ Fresh) broke into the DJ scene in 2002 as a College Radio DJ, and quickly made a name for himself rocking college parties during his time on Clarkson University campus. There, his passion for hip hop music would lead him to his first radio gig as the host of his college radio station WTSC 91.1fm. He created the popular HipHop show, “Roc Da Mic” - A weekly weekend show that drew in record listeners and callers from around Upstate NY and the world wide web, hence bringing major awareness to Clarkson Radio.
His radio success quickly earned him a spot as a resident club DJ in local college clubs often visited by college students around the potsdam/canton area. His exceptional DJ skills helped pay his bills and by the time MightyMike graduated college, he'd already been highly regarded by many as truly one of the best DJs in northern New York. This would ultimately mark the beginning of his DJ career.

After graduating college, MightyMike relocated from NYC to Atlanta and quickly gained wide recognition as the DJ/host for star-studded parties and shows locally in atlanta, playing a wide range of Hip-Hop, R&B, Dancehall, Soca, Reggaeton and Afro HipHop at a few of the trendiest venues in the ATL; he's also a favorite of ATL promoters, and one of the forefront DJs on the Nigerian HipHop Music scene.
DJ MightyMike has Man'd the turntable during performances by some of the big names in the Nigerian music industry including; Tuface, Sauce Kid, eLDee, OlaDELe, Tony Tetuila, Majek Fashek, & Ras Kimono to name a few. He has performed at two Nigerian Reunions, and also performed alongside DJ Jimmy Jatt - A well respected DJ, revered for his role in setting the pace for hip hop music in Nigeria.
Not wanting to be known as just a party DJ, MightyMike has since set out to venture the Mixtape market. In his effort to spread the awareness of the music scene in Nigeria, MightyMike has since released 3 mixtapes - "Heavy Something" being the latest in the series.
"I'm trying to step my game up," He says. "But really what it is more so, is just me doing what I wanna do".
MightyMike is a member of the World famous Nigerian DJ Crew Naija DJs . You can listen to MightyMike's Mix shows on Tru Spot!â„¢ radio - A social music platform designed to support Nigerian artists, fans, local music and entertainment in general. MightyMike's mixes are scattered all over the internet. Check out djmightymike.imeem.com, UnderDaRock for some of his mixes.

Featured Artists The Nigerian native, WallyWa has finally hit the scenes introducing his own essence to Afro Hip-Hop. His unique sound and individuality distinguishes him from most African hip-hop artists, demanding respect and admiration from his followers. Hip-Hop is rapidly growing throughout Africa but its WallyWa's exclusive talent that will take Afro-Hiphop to the next level.
While living in Silver Spring, MD, WallyWA was involved in the irresistible beat banging, DC GoGo music. In 2002, he created a GoGo group known as HUB (Hit'em UP Band). He was the lead mic vocalist and strived for success, but the band split in 2004. He then managed another GoGo band but due to differences in the love of music and the desire for success, WallyWA decided to part ways with this group and attain his goals through another route.
