About Me

Wes Davis provides most of the lead vocals and songs for a band called Shy One Horse, which you should friend right now, and sometimes sings the same songs on his own, on the side. He co-hosts an open mic in North Austin at a place called Genuine Joe’s on Thursdays, and he loves you unconditionally.

He is terrified of live performance but is even more terrified of life without performance.

Influences: This is tough, because I never have any idea how to answer this question. Here are bands that I've enjoyed over the years, however, and I'd imagine they've done something to shape my music:

Cake, Weezer, Green Day, Slobberbone, Blues Traveler, Roy Orbison, Elvis Presley, The Presidents of the United States of America, Led Zeppelin, Beach Boys, All manner of early 90's crap and who knows what else.
