About Me

I am a professional drummer with 28 years experience playing in a wide variety of ensembles from Rock, Gospel, Hip Hop, Pop, Funk, Afro-Beat, and Blues to Orchestral Tympani Rn'B, and Jazz. I have shared the stage in support of Greyboy All-Stars, Groove Collective, jammed with the P-Funk All-Stars, and opened for Maceo Parker, Chic, and Isacc Hayes. I have also had the privlage of performing at the Glastonburry Festival - UK (Jazz World stage and Dance Stage), Festa Sete FR, Supernatural Festival - Netherlands, Fontain Fest - Latvia, and the Fandango Jazz Festival at La Palma Italy on Rome. Currently I can be seen playing Internationaly in many U.S. and European ports with Kokolo Afrobeat(currently mixing a soon to be released album of smokin' Afro-Funk grooves, thats all I can say), locally with the All-Star Funk/Soul group Phedonia featuring New Orleans Trumpeter and Vocalist Antonio Gambrel. Also with Mario Sebastian along with Erben Perez, on bass, (Both from JLo and Marc Anthony bands), rockin' singer/songwriter Elliot Carlson Botero, The Antar Goodwin Trio (Jazz), Dawn and DiShawn Gandy Gospel Group( inthe studio now), the PJ Contrneo Group (Jazz/Jamband) (also currently in the studio), and Smoove(Reggae). I play all over the tri-state area including at Crossroads in Garwood every Monday Night (shout out to my favorite bartender Lauren) where I am the in-house drummer. I consider myself a citizen of the world, and I don't plan on slowing down anytime soon. I do live work and studio work with many bands and Hip-Hop artists, producers and MC's. I am fluent in Reason and Logic and can grasp pretty much any other beat making devices. If you can make a beat with it, I'm on it. New projects includ a brand new Studio In North Plainfield with my boy BOOM! (yeah thats his name son) and our main man Erben, is almost complete and a fully staffed production team will be looking for new talent. Did I mention I like Music?
