~~~I enjoy writing and my work as a human rights activist. While I really enjoy hanging with friends and family, I also like my solitude probably more than anyone that I know. I’m in Tennessee, for the time being, and I've previously lived in Asheville, NC., St. Louis, Washington state, and San Francisco. I’ve been to 23 countries, but I’m a Midwestern girl at heart. MIZZOU RA!...
~~~I greatly value diversity, and while my very closest friends are quite different, they share many qualities that I deeply appreciate. They are kind, nonjudgmental, open-minded, fun, loyal, supportive, tolerant, quick witted, and slow to anger; I'd like to think that describes me, as well. They hold various beliefs, (Christian, Buddhist, Wiccan, Taoist, Jewish, Hindu, Muslim, agnostic, atheist ...etc.). I respect what anyone wants to believe, so long as they aren't fascists. My patience is tested the most by fundamentalism, arrogance, inflexibility, discrimination, cruelty, indoctrination, violence and oppression.

Heroes:

Free thinkers and nonconformists; people who face unimaginable suffering each day; those who take action against injustice, prejudice, discrimination and oppression; those who advocate freedom, peace and equality; people with integrity, courage, deep convictions, and compassion; people who have grace and keep their sense of humor in the face of adversity; those who show love, mercy, and humor in the face of opposition and pressure; people who serve others, in spite of the fact that they will never get formal recognition. "Justice, not charity."
