I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Divorced for the second time. ready to move on and make some changes. "I want to find myself a girl who can show me what laughter means, And we'll fill in the missing colors in each other's paint-by-number dreams... Are you there? Say a prayer, for the pretender." I feel like I've been isolated for years. Time to get out there. Don't know where to start. This seems like a good place. I feel like I've made a friend or two already. The seeker thing. I began a "Spiritual Quest" after my wife left. I grew up in a Christian home, but I've been a Doubting Thomas for quite some time. I decided to open my options and prayed for a sign. So on my way to church one Sunday morning, listening to NPR, I heard a radio show on religion, they did a segment on Buddhism. Here's your sign. So that's the path I've been pursuing. Some new avenues have opened since I've come to myspace. I think I can learn a lot here.Mean while volunteering with my son's high school base ball team , working and chores keep me busy. Doing a little writing. Revisiting "Americana"Hope to make some friends here and learn a little. Welcome to psylic's myspace. Pardon the dust, its under constuction. ..This profile was edited with SpaceCodes.com - Profile Editor MySpace HELP Profile Help! ..

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Although I don't think I'm worthy to meet either of them, I'd like to serve supper to Jesus and Judas, just the two of them. John Lennon would have been a gas to talk to. How 'bout Lenny Bruce. I'd like to have been a fly on the wall in the Dallas book depository that November day in '63. I'm sure Bob Dylan could share some interesting insights. On the topic of insights, Mark Twain.
