About Me

The Dazzling Strangers is a very loose affiliation of knob twiddlers, string benders & noise makers. It sounds how it sounds. No left turns. No right turns. The occasional U turn is okay.

In the past I sung & played with the Stratford 4 which was a wild ride from the basement to the penthouse & back again. Before that was Wave with Pete & Robert who went on to become the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. We threw a pretty spiffy rave at the Purple Onion that no one went to & Robert was almost kicked out of for being underage. I also played bass with LSD & the Search for God & keys with Excuses for Skipping & guitar for the Parks & Recreation up in Portland & bass with There Are Four Lights & guitar for the Outsides & drums with the Sexy Vacations & guitar with the Virgin Killers (S.F.'s best & only Scorpions tribute!) & banjo with the Blarney Stoners & noises with Sasha & the Sylvanauts & I've been known to pluck the strings for the Shadowy Bathrooms when they emerge bleary eyed & blinking in the cold daylight hours.

The full album is presently done in demo form. If you got a label and you want to hear it, drop me a line. We'll be gigging a bunch as the spring/summer progresses so write if you wanna book something, too. cheers.
