Baby Galigo Studios/Baby Galigo Films is a privately-held independent motion picture company formed by Matthew S. Harrison (SAG) in 2003 for the purpose of producing high quality independent motion pictures and television content.
To date, the company has been involved in the production of 3 high-concept feature films. Baby Galigo enters 2007 with a full slate of feature films in various stages of development and production, along with two television projects as well.
The company came about when Harrison and some friends who are also actors were sitting around trying to think of things they could do to avoid moving to Los Angeles to pursue their careers. It was decided that day that a film company based in Chicago would be born. Harrison then set out to find some scripts.
Since that time, Baby Galigo has optioned a number of scripts, completed three feature films, and is currently in production of of their first high-budget feature, "Death Walks the Streets" the first in a trilogy of films.
Baby Galigo has a history of corporate giving, and currently has two charities that it will donate portions of all revenues to: The Sunshine Kids, a charity run by our good friend G.W. Bailey, and The Arthritis Foundation, (specifically going towards research to cure juvenile rheumatic diseases).
CREATIVES INFORMATION:
It is important to note that Baby Galigo does not accept any unsolicited screenplays, manuscripts, queries, log lines, teleplays, or actor headshots/resumes.
It is our belief that in order to protect the intellectual property of potential creative partners, that accepting such property via any other channel than through legal representation such as an Agent, Manager, or Attorney, is a bad idea.
