Casual Industrees

Hi I am an intern from Team Casual transcribing the following dictation for redbull and free tshirts. We’re sitting in the the das boot basement office of Casual HQ with napkin notes and Seuss like t-shirt towers surrounding all but the air and light and the desk space. Artists and Interns. UPS man at door and bodhi dog barking in yard. Music playing: The Rad Soundtrack; People present: D Reid, B Reid, Intern I, and roommate raven doing laundry. Art on walls, sticky-note things-to-do on everything flat, clothing everywhere. I type as fast as I can: Casual is a lifestyle adjective. A not-noun descriptive term depicting the manner or style in which one pursues life. The how-you-do or where-its-at cult feeling of secret stash tree runs and cave-like concert nights. Casual, the lifestyle adj, is like a public access channel brand, a muti-media production co broadcasting ad hoc art and ideas from the royal we many mates that lurk like you out there. Multi-media with clothing as the canvas(and BMW car hoods and political signs and bumper stickers too). See this then as CNN sort of, a pirate radio Canal Plus spot lighting unframed art, renegade graffiti, and digi cam clip shots of just bad ass shit who what and wherever be found. Our sponsored team of riders for example includes dope artists, thought thinkers, skaters, surfers, musicians, arm wrestlers, bar tenders, cab drivers and any of the royal-we bad asses out there and around. D and B Reid and the fight club like house I here sit are like a nucleus where artists and the above sed come, revolve around for a time and then traject off again after contributing their piece. Longer durations would require that Casual could pay people or themselves (but man can’t live on red bull and gear trades alone). But Casual and keep this in mind, is the adhoc clothing experiment, the not-forever and no budget we-should-do-this attempt at making a sick ass clothing company.
