Eves musical journey first began when she attended the B.R.I.T Performing Arts & Technology School at 13 years of age. Here, she learnt about all aspects of music/entertainment, including radio, dance, drama, and music Production. Eve also learnt about various musical instruments along the way, and did vocal work to improve her technique, as she was already singing on her arrival to the School.
Eve then joined a three-piece girl group called Montage. In 1994 the group was signed to Polydor Records, and this meant that Eve traveled all over the UK, with additional trips to New York. In New York, the group worked with various artists/great music moguls, examples of such are Jermaine Dupri of So So Def Records and Andrea Martin, song writer of Set it off and who writes for many famous stars such as Angie Stone etc.
In 1998 Eve left Montage in relation to a lack of progression with the project, and was then asked to join another three-piece girl group by the name of Juice.
This group was signed to EMI-Medley, produced by SoulShock & Karlin and was based in Denmark, where Eve lived for three years during her involvement with the group.
Whilst in Juice, Eve and her fellow group members sacked their Management. This was in relation to the managements incompetence, so for a year and a half thereafter, the group managed themselves. Eve then got the opportunity to put her design skills to good use and designed the covers of three singles that the group later released. The girls then toured Europe and Asia, working with already established artists within the industry, most of which Eve remains in contact with to this day.
Eve loves to write songs, and has done so since a young age. She also enjoys collaborating with others, and becoming a professional songwriter is only one of many ambitions that Eve possess. Eve also has a combined love of music, a passion for becoming a sound engineer/Producer.
It has been a never-ending dream for her to become a producer and set up her own Independent Record Label. This is due to her being disappointed in the past by major record labels and then having to learn the hard way and wanting to use her experience both negative and positive in order to provide advantageous and valuable prospects to those with similar interests.
On returning from Denmark in October 2000, Eve then went to the highly acclaimed Gateway School of Recording. This is where she met Jessica Farrar.
Setting up her own business means Jessica can achieve her dreams to run her own studio and work hand in hand with many other talented people that share her passion in music and succeeding in the industry by becoming a highly acclaimed and accredited company, recognised for its aspiring talent and prosperous capabilities.
They graduated with a Higher Education Diploma in Audio Technology & Music Industry Studies, which was validated by Kingston University. This included 20 modules, two of which were Business Studies and Advanced Business Studies.
Throughout her journey, Eve has kept in touch with all of the contacts that she made from Accountants to Managing Directors, Make-up Artists to Choreographers, and has learnt a great deal about all aspects of the music industry through her 14 years of experience. At the age of 29, she has experienced what many can only dream of, and she wants to give others a chance to succeed.
Eve now runs a successful business with Jessica that can nurture young people and open doors for their careers, starting them off on the right path.
