Alright... how do you play this thing?!

About Me

Sooo... Clay Cook: grew up in suburban Atlanta. Went to Berklee for 2 years. Actaully did very well there... learned a lot. Dragged John Mayer to Atlanta (1998). Yeah, we played together for a little over a year under the moniker 'lo-fi masters.' After that imploded, I moved to California and swore off performing for a while. A year later I joined up with The Marshall Tucker Band (2000-2002). Quit that to chill out for a while, work on my thang, and play bass with Sugarland (2003). Over the last few years I've played with Matthew Kahler, Jennifer Daniels, Sundiver, Brian Wiltsey, and many other 'one off' gigs. In 2005 I became a member of Y-O-U. Then I got too busy. I split my time in 2006 between Shawn Mullins & The Marshall Tucker Band. I became a permanent guitarist/steel guitarist of The Marshall Tucker Band in 2007. '08 brings work with Aslyn, more Tucker, & more records!
