This myspace page is really nothing more than a cartoon caricature of my own "too serious" real life personality... "Weeeeeeee! Look at mmmeeeeeeeeee!" Such is life.
Back to interests...well I like Bodybuilding, hiking, computer Internet stuff, current events, history, punk rock, spontaneous poppin', working, home repair, family time, playing with my dog, being a proud Southerner in the Pacific Northwest. My feet may be in Seattle, but my head's in the great state of Tennessee!
I like to meet people with CHARACTER. Are you slightly odd? A little "off center" but well grounded? Eccentric? A good person? Do you enjoy personalities as you would a nice buffet in Vegas? Well step into my shanty and let's have a few lattes! Life's too short to waste time on pretentious, self centered butt-wipes!
I might be "nutso" (as Fonzie used to say) but I think my friends display is changing on it's own!!!What's up?!
Music, to me, is very therapeutic in a practical sense. Classic hardcore punk rock basically saved me from my bad attitude redneck self back in the early 80's. Like most, I experimented with various "cultures" and didn't quite fit in anywhere and didn't really expect to. Hey, I can still sing all of Hank Jr's songs, breakdance like a muthaf*%$, but hardcore punk is where it's been for me the last 23 years. Are you crazy, Wendel?

Participation? Many years ago, I was the vocalist for two hardcore punk bands in the 80's - Slit Wrist (Memphis) and Pazuzu (Memphis, not the other doom metal Pazuzu). Did a back up vocal track for Sick and Wrong (Seattle). That's about it.........Now I just air guitar on my steering wheel and sing with my CD player on my way to the donut shop.
I like films more than movies...but I am no snob. I can appreciate "Dodgeball" as much as "Erasure Head."
Some of my favorite writer-directors are: Tarantino, Jack Hill, Chan-wook Park, Greenaway, Lynch, Jarmusch, JMM, ...stuff like that...My favorite full length films are always documentaries.
Speaking of movies, here is a great video clip by Blasted Reality I saw on the C.O.C. list. What would Jesus do? Corrosion of Conformity provides the music track to this well done presentation of the question asked. Click on the link....

I read in phases. However, I like text books, books on history and geography. I can actually stare and study a world atlas all day and be entertained. Anyway, lately I read a lot of those management style paperbacks, business, sales, motivation books.
Martin Luther King Jr. and the countless others that went un-named in the fight for a civil America.
