Breakdancing at 39?! 40!!!
My bodybuilding story
Here is the infamous Spider Story

70% aging punkrocker and 30% breakdancing redneck!
Advice to live by (kid or adult):
"Why be something that you're not ?!" (Thank you, Negative Approach)
Professional/Work habits:
95% Straight business - 5% Bullshit.
I am a "business professional", however, I am bored to tears by my peers. My apparel fits my job duties; suit, tie,and a capitalistic grin. I do my best to add personality to the land of corporate drones.
Geek, Dweeb, or Spazz?:
100% Spazz
Free time activities:
Homebody 70% - Hiking & Bodybuilding (alone time) 15% - Party time 3% - rest of the time ???...heck if I know...
Quick Summary of such:
One wife, one kid, one house, one pick-up truck kick ass Subaru, and one hound dog.
Miscellaneous:

I hardly ever shut up discussing business, work, politics, philosophy, punk rock.
Everything is funny to me with the exception of the obvious.
I Love coffee, like Rick James loves Mary Jane...
I truly believe anyone can turn around and/or choose their own destiny. Believe me, I have had my own embarrassing self inflicted trials and tribulations.
"What do they know about partying or anything else?!"
"Say what you mean and say it mean!" Foetus

My Interests

This myspace page is really nothing more than a cartoon caricature of my own "too serious" real life personality... "Weeeeeeee! Look at mmmeeeeeeeeee!" Such is life.

Back to interests...well I like Bodybuilding, hiking, computer Internet stuff, current events, history, punk rock, spontaneous poppin', working, home repair, family time, playing with my dog, being a proud Southerner in the Pacific Northwest. My feet may be in Seattle, but my head's in the great state of Tennessee!

I'd like to meet:

I like to meet people with CHARACTER. Are you slightly odd? A little "off center" but well grounded? Eccentric? A good person? Do you enjoy personalities as you would a nice buffet in Vegas? Well step into my shanty and let's have a few lattes! Life's too short to waste time on pretentious, self centered butt-wipes!

I might be "nutso" (as Fonzie used to say) but I think my friends display is changing on it's own!!!What's up?!

Music:

Music, to me, is very therapeutic in a practical sense. Classic hardcore punk rock basically saved me from my bad attitude redneck self back in the early 80's. Like most, I experimented with various "cultures" and didn't quite fit in anywhere and didn't really expect to. Hey, I can still sing all of Hank Jr's songs, breakdance like a muthaf*%$, but hardcore punk is where it's been for me the last 23 years. Are you crazy, Wendel?
************************************

Hardcore Punk Rock
Industrial
Some Metal
Southern Rock
Late 70's and Early 80's Breakdance Music
Country before 1984
....oh, and I like Steely Dan...
*********************************
Participation? Many years ago, I was the vocalist for two hardcore punk bands in the 80's - Slit Wrist (Memphis) and Pazuzu (Memphis, not the other doom metal Pazuzu). Did a back up vocal track for Sick and Wrong (Seattle). That's about it.........Now I just air guitar on my steering wheel and sing with my CD player on my way to the donut shop.

Movies:

I like films more than movies...but I am no snob. I can appreciate "Dodgeball" as much as "Erasure Head."
Some of my favorite writer-directors are: Tarantino, Jack Hill, Chan-wook Park, Greenaway, Lynch, Jarmusch, JMM, ...stuff like that...My favorite full length films are always documentaries.
Speaking of movies, here is a great video clip by Blasted Reality I saw on the C.O.C. list. What would Jesus do? Corrosion of Conformity provides the music track to this well done presentation of the question asked. Click on the link.... THE CROSS

Television:

Almost Live, Da Ali G Show, Strangers with Candy, Fat Albert, Good Times, That's My Mama, Maude, Simpsons, Fat Albert, X-Files, The Young Ones, American Idol, One Day at a Time, The Jeffersons, News, Welcome Back Kotter, HR Pufnstuf, Lidsville, School House Rock videos, Three Stooges, Documentary programs on almost anything, The Weather Channel, Sorry, but I love TV!

Books:

I read in phases. However, I like text books, books on history and geography. I can actually stare and study a world atlas all day and be entertained. Anyway, lately I read a lot of those management style paperbacks, business, sales, motivation books.

Heroes:

Martin Luther King Jr. and the countless others that went un-named in the fight for a civil America.

All of my past school teachers (and any school teacher doing the right thing)

Anyone who continues the walk of righteousness and truth.

Fun 2 B Amy

...and all the PUNX that held up when it counted!

...here are a few names I look to for inspiration, "Dancing Heroes":

Ray Bolger (vaudevillian actor that played the scarecrow from Wizard of Oz.)

...and this guy, Mr. Animation!! (click here)
...and here

Check this out, much respect for MEMPHIS!

Car dealership strategies
