It was early in the new millenium, when the roots of Sabbatic Rites were hellishly conceived from the ashes of other projects. Nick C, Sal Blackstone, Ari Edwards and drummer Tony "Squeeks" originally collaberated as a "Horror Punk" band (similar to the Misfits, etc.) called Lord of the Maggots (L.O.T.M.). After playing together as a band for only a week, they began playing shows before tough crowds who actually embraced their raw fusion of "Horror Punk" and classic Metal . Everything seemed to be going well until the departure of Tony "Squeeks". During this time, L.O.T.M. went to obscurity and worked on new material. As their sound evolved, they left their old material in obscurity and became Sabbatic Rites. After recruiting drummer JC, they finally established a new line-up and are waiting to rise...
