About Me

Producer / Engineer - Metalworks Institute/Studios
Owner - Rogue Recordings

Music is my life. Having spent my life involved in music in one way or another, it has now turned into my career. Shit, where do I start …
I’m a recent graduate of the legendary Metalworks Institute in Mississauga Ontario, Canada. Beaten and bruised from one year of being dragged through one of the most difficult engineering/producing programs on the planet, I came out on the top of class, eyes wide open. Through sheer determination, I landed a job at Metalworks as the new Student Life Coordinator. This is home base for me.
My passion is producing and engineering. Working with bands and songwriters, and coming up with new tunes is just where it’s at for me. My company, Rogue Recordings, is a testament to this passion. I deal in everything from Artist development and production, to engineering, assisting and Pro Tools operating, to Post Production for film, to graphic design layout for CD. If it’s got to do with my passion, I’m in.
Learning is always on the frontline for me. My training has enabled me to become a strong engineer, and be able to work on some of the best consoles in the world. Solid State Logic 9000J, 6000G, 4000E, Neve VR, 8036, and Digidesign ICON D-Control are my tools, and I know these consoles like the back of my hand. I was intensively trained in Pro Tools, and topped my graduating year. Pro Tools is my life when it comes to engineering and having been trained by Mark Capoferri, Alf Annibilini, Graham Brewer, and Michael Banton-Jones, who are some of the top names in the industry, my skills are where they need to be.
Rogue Recordings offers its clients many things. Recording, Production, Artist Development, Assistant Engineering, Pro Tools operation and trouble shooting, sound design, Foley, Post Production, Studio design and analysis, Graphic Design, just to name a few. Or if you are a band just looking to bounce a track off to someone who’ll listen and give an educated opinion, I’m here.
I invite all bands to send me your music. I enjoy hearing new music all the time, and hope to work with some of you over the course of your careers. I’m available for any one of the aforementioned services at all times and respond to email inquires and messages promptly. My engineering and assisting rates are available upon request.
I’m currently searching for bands that are looking for a Producer. Please send me your music!
Hope to hear from you soon,
Ryan @ Rogue Recordings
