We're experienced tracking and mix engineers with an excellent reputation for
making recordings that get our clients noticed (we've worked on Mercury Award
nominated albums we'll have you know!). We're friendly and always willing to
go that extra mile to get the result you want and other studios might fall short
of.
Primarily we record digitally using Steinberg Nuendo 3 but
we can spit out Digidesign Pro Tools compatible files should
your project require them. If analog recording is more your cup of tea we also
have a Soundcraft SCM 760 2" 24 track tape machine available
that is in excellent health thanks to it's previous owners Intimate
Studios (London)
We have an excellent selection of microphones (models by Neumann, Shure, AKG, Oktava and Rode) and mic pre-amps (various models from Buzz Audio, Audient, Gyraf, Ridge Farm and Sytek) to use as a front end.
In conjunction with UAD-1 and Powercore DSP
cards in our computer we also have a selection of outboard (1176,
Altec Lansing, GSSL and Pultec)
that allow us to use the best that analog and digital has to offer at mix time.
We use SSL X-Logic Alpha Link analog digital converters to get
audio into our computer and a setup of Dynaudio A1 amplifier
and Dynaudio BM15 passive monitors to listen back to it.
We have various musical equipment available for recording purposes including an Ampeg SVT 8x10 bass rig and an all valve Hammond M102 Organ and Leslie 145 cabinet!
