About Me

It all started for me back in the year 96 when the legendry club tin tins was at its peak, listening to the god of Dj’s Tony de Vit and Andy Farley. The clubbing scene and the music from that era totally rocked. From the minute you stepped into the club the music had u dancing all night until the doors closed. The energy and journey it took u on was unbelievable. I still to this day miss that club and the vibe a long with many other clubbers who experienced those great times. From tin tins closing the clubbing scene moved to a Sunday afternoon which was and still is called sundiessential. What another fantastic club! The music then started to get faster and harder and the likes of Lisa lashes were born.It was these two great clubs and experiences that influenced me to start Djing, in all honesty it happened in a dream. One night I dreamt I was Djing to a crowd of clubbers and the atmosphere was ecstatic, so I woke from my dream and bought my first pair of decks, sound lab direct drives the very next day.I was totally hooked and practised everyday & night without fail. Within three months I could beat match but something didn’t sound quite right with my mixing. So I listened to my Andy farley tapes (going back a few years now) and I noticed the tunes were mixed in so clean which ended and started in the correct place, so I then practised where to bring in your next mix to create a perfect transmission. Hey presto it worked. From then I upgraded my equipment and still to this day I keep up to date with the times and now mix from cdj’s as well.Over the 12 years I have been clubbing and 8 years I have been Djing the music has been through many changes so my music collection is huge.I have played at many venues, Bakers, Subway City, Panama Bar, Hidden, Crusader, Cheeky, Resurrection, Pin Up, Angels, Dragon Eye, The Works, Fuel, Route, Bjbash, Chi Bar, No12, No13, Courtyard, Breeze, and Miss Money Penny’s to name but a few.I regularly play for No13 on Fridays with a mix of all types of music to keep the Worcester crew happy and for Miss Money Penny’s when they tour Worcester @ club Breeze and also for resurrection when they tour Birmingham.I also like to get stuck into any Dj competitons and recently entered the world Dj competiton, Movida Corona where I came fourth in the midlands final out of 200 entrants. I will be of course entering next years competition with a few tricks up my sleeve, so watch this space. This year I wanted to take my Djing and love of music to another level so I decided to pack my full time job in to study music production full time at Worcester College Of Technology, which I have to say is the best decision I have made in a long time. The two year course will enable me to start producing my own tracks and to put together tunes which I feel will keep u dancing from doors open to doors close. You never know by this time next year I could be playing my own produced tracks in the Movida Corona competition, rock on Tommy.
