Formed in 1993, The its return to their native UK roots following numerous bouts of yogic flying in Eastern Europe. Recently re-formed (not reformed) the band previously known as The Moonbabies have secured the services of legendary Biddulph drummer, Dan Mowbray. For those readers not familiar with its personalities the current line up alongside Dan are Mache (Bass Guitar), Andy Stubbs (Guitar and Lead vocals) and Tez Baker (Guitar and vocals). The band formerly known as Strange Brood, The Lemmings, Inkerman Street Rhinos, Dangergrouse, OASIS (not the Manchester based Beatles tribute act) and more recently The Moonbabies. The its are looking forward to entertaining both new fans and old.The its play a musical style which can only be described as confused with occasional moments of tunefulness and have a good pedigree having previously supported the likes of Death Sock, Crispy Ambulance and The Flying Graysons.Turned down in 1998 by Virgin records for allegedly not returning calls seems a harsh way to bow out of the rock arena so the band soldier on.Songs to look out for.Adventure..A lovely Ballad inspired by the Utterly Butterly TV ad.Dumb in the Desert..a haunting riff backdrops the tale of a deaf mute at Cricceth beach.Somethings..A song, which suggests that George Harrison just may have forgotten to add an 's' at the end.Frontier Weirdo..This song simply cannot be explained!
