Me in the dance studio...feel good and knock it out!!Claudia Kohn’s diverse entertainment background and intense work ethic have helped lay the groundwork needed for this British singer/songwriter and actress to make the intimidating leap across the ocean in pursuit of notoriety in the states. It was only recently that she made the relocation to Los Angeles, but in effect, Claudia’s journey to stardom has been a lengthy voyage through the waters of creativity and artistic expression stemming back to her childhood. Although Claudia’s true passion is singing and acting, she has also a career as an accomplished model and dancer. Her early years were spent studying drama, dance, music, and performance at Tring Park Arts Educational School just outside of London. While at Tring Park, Claudia excelled in her training and it quickly became apparent that the performing arts would play a significant role in the young girl’s future. The BBC network noticed her potential and showcased her in the hit series “Teen Species”, which was one of the most popular documentary shows in the United Kingdom during its run in 2002. The show documented the trials and tribulations of a group of extraordinarily talented British Teenagers, and served as a showcase for Claudia’s talents. As a result, Claudia became a teenage celebrity in the United Kingdom essentially overnight. Following her time at Tring Park, Claudia attended London Studio Centre, one of the top dance institutions in the UK, where she earned her Higher National Diploma in performing arts. Claudia has worked steadily since completing her schooling, being booked for numerous singing, dancing, acting and modeling jobs. Some of which included roles in Madonna’s “I’m Sorry” and Son of Dork’s “Eddie” music videos, modeling work for L’oreal, Wrangler, and Formula 1 Racing, as well as a lead acting role in the short film “New Day”. Also, she began working with the manager of the platinum selling pop group “All Saints”, and started an intense vocal development program. Claudia then became one third of the pop group “52 Week High”. They toured around the UK promoting their hit singles, “Straight Up” and “Who do You Love”. 52 Week High had a great run lasting over a year before Claudia left the group to pursue her career in the states. Currently residing in Los Angeles, Claudia is pursuing a career in film and music.....It’s only a matter of time until her yesterday’s dreams of international success turns into today’s reality.
