run is a london based outfit focusing on pushing minimal music and new electronic sounds placing as much emphasis on the growing local scene as on the established international one.
Since 2004 run has been bringing some of the leading international artists in the minimal and techno scene (Zip, Jeff Samuel, Jay Haze, Someone Else, Barem, Fusiphorm, Ben Parris, Miskate, Andy Vaz, Geoff White, Bern, Skugge & Stavöstrand, Frivolous, Pheek, Cabanne, Dave Miller etc) over to play in London.
Alongside these international guests, established local talent (Lump, Mark Henning, Steevio, Leif, Glimpse etc) as well as up and coming local producers and djs have also been given the encouragement and opportunity to have a platform for their music.
Future plans for run include expanding their horizon beyond just doing parties and events. Using runsounds.com as a medium, and the parties as a meeting point and testing ground for new music and ideas, we hope to incorporate photography, design, video as well as writing in to the architecture of run.
