Jon is one of my multi-talented cousins and the nephew of jazz legend Ella Fitzgerald. Jon and Stew were associates of Vernon Reid and early members of the BLACK ROCK COALITION. Today, they both are two of the most innovative independent film producers. I last worked with Jon on Richard Brooks' "Johnny B. Goode", a production of FLATTOP ENTERTAINMENT. Stew is a critically acclaimed songwriter who was the musical director of the INTERNATIONALS, which also featured members of THE NEGRO PROBLEM and Jeff Merchant of the band PG-13 and Adam Marsland of the "power pop" band COCKEYED GHOST.
