About Me

..:: Anthony Jeanne ::..

Anthony Jeanne has brought about a new flavour to the urban world. His early production involved creating remixes for many respected DJ's throughout Sydney, only to find that his calling was in the street music realm. Anthony's passion for hot grooves and body breakin’ beats grew as quickly as his reputation and his studio [Decibel Studios]. By his second year of production, Anthony had worked with some of Sydney's hottest talents. Artists such as Breed, Mike Champion and Stan Bravo flocked to him in search of new and inspiring music. His name spread as quickly as his music, finding his grooves playing in clubs and major concerts all around Australia. Creating music for artists opening for the likes of Kci & Jojo, 112, Dru Hill, Ja Rule, Naughty By Nature and Nelly; Anthony Jeanne quickly became an urban producer in high demand.

By his third year, his name was synonymous with a professional and ground breaking style and when he teamed up with Drum and Bass guru: Ryzatone, they began working on a demo project which boomed throughout the Drum and Bass world finding their music spreading quickly into the underground club scene as well onto FBI Radio and Bondi FM. Moving onto a band project with long standing friends Ton Ton, Cas, and Cus1, Anthony became the central unit of the 'Lounge Hounds'; a superlative electronic act where the rules of traditional bands were bent and twisted into a new format. Within three months the Lounge Hounds were performing to Sydney city crowds as well as at the Bondi Winter Music Festival.

Understanding that his true passion was in song writing and production as well as performance, Anthony quickly began building his new studio and teamed up with Cas of Up Late Productions fusing their talents together in hopes to take over the urban scene as the guiding force for bringing Australia into the forefront of the genre.

Anthony strives to bring independent and new artists into the spotlight providing a complete musical service in a realistic and practical way. This is a very unique mindset and approach to producing music for artists nationally. As if all this wasn't enough, Anthony Jeanne has recently acquired a role as a reviewer, critic and tutorial writer for Audio Technology Magazine.

Anthony Jeanne’s new solo album ‘Make Time’ delivers smooth timbres that have a distinct sound which capture his urban upbringing. Songs with soul and passion, take the listener through many past experiences, whilst keeping interest and focus in the realm of everyday reality. The musical aspect of the album is expressive and tasteful where a focus on melodic composition is placed; a rarity in today’s urban genres. This is Anthony Jeanne’s response to real urban sound created for those looking to immerse themselves in heartfelt stories and musical journeys.

Thankyou for taking the time to stop by and checking this MySpace site. I hope you enjoy samples from the album. I look forward to hearing from you… Anthony Jeanne
