Band Website: petercardarelli.com
Band Members: Has been a band leader in Boston and Europe for many years performing with some great jazz players on both continents and employs the best for every concert be it clubs or in concert.
Influences: God and all the music Cardarelli's ever heard is has influenced his music and playing . However,as Steve Greenlee of the Boston Globe wrote "From Be-Bop to Groove and Funk and Blues, Cardarelli shows a strong sound with in each style and is a perfect Ambassador for American music."Jazz Critic Bob Blumenthal says of Peter"Cardarelli plays refreshingly in the tradition of Dextor Gordon when he gets into his Standards and Blues"Musica Europa" wrote " One can hear many colors and styles in Cardarelli.....all can move the listener's soul." However, each performance of jazz has it's own influences depending on the players, the audiences, the venues, and the atmosphere surounding each performance. Also, depending on the style of Jazz the venue calls for, be it Funky , Groove, or Romantic, influences change.Cardarelli has a talent that can move his music and playing to flow with all these factors.
Sounds Like: Peter Cardarelli,no matter what kind of jazz...be it Groove ,Chillout,or Blues- based tunes and standards
