The Knight
(My Holy Trinity - My Right Arm)
I enjoy good music, art, theatre, paintings, movies, designs, and video games. When these arts are done right, they produce an excellent story revealing the soul of the artists behind them. The art of story-telling produced through God's gift of art and imagination influence the ideals of life. To know life is to know how you influenced the world and the people around you. Every smile you make, makes a difference.
I'd like to meet:
Graphic Designers, Writers, Artist, and Cartoonist. I enjoy those who are creative and are passionate about their work. This can also range from Art in Music to Theatre. People with goals and ambisions interest me. Also I love the art of story telling. So having a colorful life keeps my interest as well.
New clients for web design, web production, and graphics. The business behind Capcom and other video game companies. A company seeking to hire me as a Web Designer or with a Web / Graphic Arts Department.

Movies:
Horror
Vampires are the best movie monsters and From Dusk Til Dawn gets full credit as my favorite movie. I also own Interview with a Vampire, Lost Boys, Bram Stoker's Dracula, and a the most exciting story Underworld along with Evolution. Best horror for Y2K is The Ring bringing back real classic horror and then the Grudge.Comedy
As for comedies nothing is as classic as Half Baked, Happy Gilmore, and Monty Pythons & the Holy Grail. There are others I really get into but those I own. And one that has a life time with me is Boomerang with Halle Berry and Marrrcusssss. These two characters here stayed with me and my lifestyle and how I fell for Halle. Then I could never stop watching Ghostbusters in college.
"What ever the reason Ray, call it Karma, call it Fate... Everything happens for a reason." -- Peter Venkman
Action
Then in action I like the Greek, Roman, and Egyptian mythological to ancient historical folklore so
Troy with the rebellous glory-seeking Achilles and the heartful clever-witted Odysseus is a favorite of mine as they made history from Homer's the Iliad.
"You have your sword, I have my tricks. We all play with the toys The Gods [translate: God] gave us." -- Odysseus to Achilles
But the movie to start all my Greek mythological love was the classic Clash of the Titans. From Egyptian myth I appreciated the Indiana Jones style of the Mummy and from my studies of Latin and the Roman culture I enjoyed Gladiator. Today, the fantasy stories of
Harry Potter is really big to me, especially with the creative writing behind it of J.K. Rowling. The best comic book to movie is the
Spider-man series. Didn't really care much for Spider-man until now thanks to the movies. First Matrix was best and most epic. And if you ever watch the made for TV movie
The Odyssey you can get a better visual on the definition of the path of my life in many aspects.
"Man is nothing without The Gods [translate: God]." -- Poseidon
Director
Since I am a fan director
Tim Burton, the first
Batman movie was the best including Jack Nicholson as the Joker. I will admit to being touched by
Big Fish using one of my favorite actors Ewan McGregor. This movie captured a lot of my life and writes out like the Odyssey. Then I was thrilled with Sleepy Hollow, which added to the Johnny Depp list of classic characters. And who can't forget Beetlejuice.
Outside the United States
From my martial art movie days, the best was
Duel to the Death with the best sword fighting and phrases used in Wu-Tang Forever. Also enjoyed Shogun Assassin which spawned from the Lone Wolf and Cub series. The best Japanese anime to me will always be
Ninja Scroll with the hero Jubei. Then I have to give must respect to the theory, plot, and story behind
Hero with Jet Li. The government, politics, and computer programming business could learn a lot behind this movie. Would get us closer to the Star Trek: Next Generation way of living. And who isn't a Bruce Lee fan.
"Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless--like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup, You put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle,
You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot.
Now water can *flow* or it can *crash*!
Be water, my friend." -- Bruce Lee
Not My Style
Then my one romance and theatrical will be
Othello with Lawrence Fisherburne. It is the only Shakespeare play that I liked "reading" in high school. The characters Desdamona, Othello, and Iago played out parts of persona.
*Cough* not one for musicals but the best are West Side Story and Disney's The Little Mermaid even though I own neither. "Under da Sea."Comedians
Have to say that I enjoy good stand-up because there is truth in jokes. And the one person who has always kept it real and the livest is
Chris Rock. His one phrase "I might not agree with you... but I understand" helped me to be understanding to others in the past as well as assisted in my relationship with my father. Another great comedian to recognize is
Sinbad. He was one of the best. Especially since he had a great time without even swaring.
Must See Recent Movies
Idlewild (♣ OutKast), the Decent, V for Vendetta, Must Love Dogs (♥ Diane Lane), the Grudge 2, Ong Bok, the Protector, Jet Lei's Fearless, the Devil Wears Prada, and of course
Rent (my cuz
Tracie Thoms)
Television:
The Simpsons forever. Don't care how old or played out. That show is universal. Family Guy is reaching classic status too.
Then Batman Animated Series all the way to Justice League cartoon series.
"Expect the Unexpected." -- Batman
I enjoy creative cartoons that come up on Cartoon Network such as Dexter's Lab and Foster's Home. But I miss the good old cartoons such as G.I. Joe, Duck Tales, Animaniacs, Gargoyles, and that genre. I will also give major credit to the creative writing behind Pokemon.
Really into House M.D., which is the best show on T.V. I am also liking Grey's Anatomy.
Angel was one of my favorite shows. Joss Whedon and the writers for Buffy & Angel were genious.
I am currently in and out with WWE wrestling programs. Triple H is my favorite wrestler and DX just returned. So I got two words for ya: SUCK IT!
Conan O'Brien rules the late night. Daily Show is runner-up.
I used to be a Trekky with the Next Generation. So much you can gain from this era of Star Trek.
Not much on reality shows but Alton runs MTV and is the biggest pimp. He's close to making my hero list. I also like P. Diddy's first run on Making the Band.
Yes I used to and sometimes catch up on soap operas. My favorite is the Bold & the Beautiful where Ridge Forrester beats everyone who messes with his love life then there's Young & the Restless with an array of characters including the powerful Victor Newman.
Books:
I am not big in this department unless you say Comic Books. I am currently reading The Purpose Driven Life. First book I have read in a long time and it is like reading a sermon, which is good for me. It interprets all the things I believe in and strengthened my relationship with God.
All time favorite is The Odyssey. I used to like reading Greek plays and poems. I think I read them all. Most of the make-up of the human mind and habits stem from Greek culture and plays, which was a large study of Sigmund Freud. Anything Greek, Norse, and Egyptian with mythology and culture interest me. Other culture's legends, folklores, and mythological tales always turn my head as well along with Shakespeare's many mythical and supernatural plays. These writings inspired many comic books and cartoons like Gargoyles producing great plots and storylines.
Besides his mythlogical and supernatural plays, my favorite play was Shakespeare's Othello, which the Lawrence Fishburne and Kenneth Branagh movie version helped bring a more visual light.
From my high school days I remember reading Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse and in college for Art Theory I had to read Christian and Oriental Philosophy of Art by Ananda Kentish Coomaraswamy. These two books helped me understand and appreciate the works of art, life, culture, religion, and mankind, which all relate in one way through God.
As for comic books, ones written by Jeph Loeb and Chris Claremont and art by Jim Lee, I will most-likely buy. Comic book titles I return to are Batman, X-Men, & the Darkness.
And from my youth I enjoyed Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing by Judy Blume and Valley of the Far Side by Gary Larson.
