Glad to be in the NEW YEAR with you.Life is amazing.All the shit goin on with us on the planet & we're still here.Maybe it's me: livin in N.Y.Crazy in the belly.While I'm here I do music.
Music is my religion.. by now I imagine you think I'm probably exaggerating or thrownin it casually .... no.
It sounds over the top but I know what I know.It's saved my life & gotten people outta hell..even temporarily.
More of a home then any place I ever grew up.
I'm here to fuck it up in a good way & strengthin the belief that there's plenty of good music still out here.
I'm a dedicated artist with some real shit to say...That needs to be heard.Years supporting myself putting it down as hard as I physically can singing gigs on the weekends.Proud to be the 1st to REPRESENT HIP HOP & a lil beatbox to the downtown live scene.Earned myself the reputation cuz I take music that seriously.Passionate dude when it comes to that.
These days My career has 3 projects poppin off -
1) Graffiti Blue - Chilled out urban cuts w/Didi Gutman of the Brazilian Girls.Classic album.We broke right before we looked for a record deal.A good chunk of it went to a few major movie soundtracks ( LOVE THE HARD WAY w/ Adrain Brody & Pam Greir)I still sell the record to finance my life & the next record. ( you'll hear it on Sirus )
2) THIS record = Answer for the long wait.You don't know how much I mean that till you get it's in your ears or see a live show /Taylor McFerrin & Brockett Parsons.To me - music is conversation.This album is not restricted to a certain category.From R&B to hard ROCK elements of dance,jazz & of course Hip Hop.The album is titled ((B0XCUTTER)) due this Spring 2007.The song that your hearing already got picked up & on the air waves by Gilles Peterson.It's going on his new compilation.Within a few months it'll be out!! That tune was JUST written!
3) Peter Gunz n the band Feedback:INSANE.Live in concert-We go all out.The album.Some of the realest shit we ever wrote.Hip Hop has somethin to look forward to.Shit...music lovers are gonna feel this.The lyrics,concepts,the beats are undeniable.The Musicians N.Y.C. best put the city on the map again.Gunz said he wants another Grammy.Looks like we on the way.
