CBuJ Entertainment is a wholesale distributor, independent record label, and music licensing entity. CBuJ distributes markets and releases music that consists mainly of country and southern gospel music product. In 2006 it will begin to broaden its repertoire to include pop, rock, soul, and classical releases.
CBuJs grassroots approach to promoting new acts recently resulted in a major label deal for the yet-young artist Blaine Larsen. The title cut from his debut CD on Giantslayer Records, In My High School was supported by a video on GAC, and an in-store show in his hometown of Buckley, Washington, sold over 1,000 units! The RCA Label Group signed him to BNA Records after hearing his independent single on radio.
On March 14th 2006 CBuJ released the latest installment of the highly successful Cow Hear This compilation hits series. This Cow3 pet project of CBuJs own VP of Sales and Marketing, Stephen McCord, continues highlighting the hottest independent artists (along with a few household names) of the Texas and Southwest music scene.
