Waz up family! LG's Up! "Just Like That" was created because of me finding my passion for Marketing and Promotions. After working for a couple of independent record labels and working with dj's in marketing and promoting the music, I realized that this was something that I enjoyed more than Information Technology. I decided to start "Sniper Squad Dj's" because after working with DJ's and Artist for the last two years , I wanted a family of dj's, producers and artist that have a desire to give the world real music of all genres like Gospel, Neo-Soul, Reggae, R&B and Hip Hop. I am the co-founder of Lord Gang DJ's and served as the VP for a year and half and enjoyed every minute of the movement. I reached out to artists and professionals in the entertainment industry for mentors and I learned a lot about the industry. They took me under there wings and taught me the things I needed to know to become someone recognized in the industry. It did not matter that they were on another coast they would stay on the telephone with me all times of the night teaching me more and more about the business. I met DJ's and radio station owners, PD and MD's that kept it real with me about the music. I met Harry Lyles and he gave me advice about commerical radio and the djs gave me advice about what was poppin in the club and how to get the artist music on air and distributed. I learned that all artists and producers believe their music is hot but it is the dj's that can make or break your project and it is the manager,marketing and promotions that has to always be real with them for them to produce their best work . "Just Like That" was built from a passion about music (all music) and marketing and promoting and public relations of a variety of other companies and people.I realized that it does not matter how good you are at what you do , if no one knows that you exist. I love what I do because it gives me a chance to use everything I have learn in the last 16 years working in the Information Technology Industry, Sales, Customer Service, Management and the Legal Field and Music. Doing Executive support and Project Management over the years I learned networking and negotiation skills that are crucial to what I do. My job allows me to network with people at all levels of the game and meet others like myself who just have a passion for music. I was raised in a house of music all my life listening to Sam Cooke, Johnny Taylor, The Temptations, Smokey Robinson , Betty Wright, Tina Turner, Lenny Williams and others because my dad was a DJ in the military. I also played the trumpet from Elementary to College, and sang in the choir from the age of 5. I use music as my medicine for all life problems. I am in the business to make a difference. It is time to bring real music back to the fans. The type of music that will last for years and not for a season. I believe in the clients I represent because if they are working hard it makes me work harder. I am aggressive when it comes to my career and my desires.I understand that networking with others is the key to success in this industry and all other industries. I am locally owned but Internationally known, I have networked and made friends and business associates all over the world. I focus on the positive things in life because life is too short for the negative things. As you meet me and get to know me you will understand me. I have 3 kids great kids Sakyi, Tracia and TJ.
