Hey, what's up? Hailing from South Kak, this is DJ Scorpio. I have been in the DJ biz since 1991 while I was in college at Tuskegee University in Al. I have been all types of DJ: radio/mixshow/mobile/club/mixtape. Currently, I am a club/mobile primarily going whereever the money is and I do a mix for Old School 102.9 in Orangeburg, SC on Friday afternoons at five pm!! I started spinning with vinyl on a pair of ol Gemini 1800s (some of you dj know I what I'm referring to) and fell in love the art of DJing. And yes, I know how to mix and scratch and blend and even do some tricks on the wheels of steel (which are now Technics 1200s). I also do mixed CDs and don't mind sharing the spotlight with another DJ, (I can and often do hold down a whole night by myself, but I don't hate on other DJs, there'e enough love for all). A special shout out to my fellow DJs...DJ Rock (my partner in Planet Patrol DJs), B-Lord, Prince Ice, Big Sexy, TJ, Scientist, Road Runner, Nu Skool, Ol Skool, Quick, Rob Base, Disciple, Shy C, Dre' Black, Lady Shay, Southern Belle, Debutante, Ji Ji Sweet, and everyone else keeping it real! I am a Future Stars DJ (what's up to the crew) I have to send some love to the members. I currently do 2 mixshows: one on Weds. at 10am PST on WWW.Swurvradio.com and on WQKI, Old School 102.9, on Fri. at %pm EST. Check out their logos below.
