..We Started this band a year and a half ago because we were putting together a small festival and thought it would be funny to play a few songs. Basically a group of friends sharing the same interest in music, hanging out at the farm beating instruments.
The Long story
Inspired by all the skate punk music that was popular at the time Well Nic G, Jonas N, Jonas L and Jesper R started a silly punk band called Nowise in 93. We didn't know how to play, but managed to put a few songs together. Jonas L. dropped out rather quickly so we got Thor N to play the drums. We had a Bass player Called Dot but he also quit, because of his stage fright! So we replaced him with Thor P. (seriously, we have a lot of double names here!). At the same time Nick Butcher played guitar in a punk/hardcore band called Wasted Silence, which Jesper R. also joined in 96 or so because they needed a bass player, even though he had never played bass before. Nowise recorded a demo CD in 98 and entered a talent contest which was the peak of this band. We got kicked out in the semi finals which was totally fair. Both Nowise and Wasted Silence kinda just died out because people got better things to do education and work wise.
So we had all this equipment just gathering dust in our old rehearsal room at the farm (note: the farm is the home of Jonas N. and the place where all the local nuts hang out and fix cars and drink beer.... mostly the beer part!) . There has been talk about selling the equipment but we couldn't get ourselves to do it. So after a while we decided to start again, only this time we didn't feel like playing punk anymore and we wanted a new name. We decided to play country because we have gotten older and wanted to mellow out a bit.
