Another addict added to the Rockabilly scene... Loves to listen to and look at great bands. Likes to collect vinyl - or at least supporting my darling spending money on it :o)Likes to find clothes, accessories and fun stuff for the home from the 50's and 60's. Hunts every item down with leopard spots on it! Love to spend time with my beloved ones at home.Ohh - I actually almost forgot another big passion..... football (soccer)! Watching the homeboys from FCK playing is just the perfect way spending the Sunday! Another passion - I have so many ;o) - is to shop on eBay. Boy, could I spend some money there if you let me! And last but not least I like supporting my beloved husband in playing music.
I'd like to meet:
Brian Setzer and Bettie Page
Music:
Whoa - where should I start....? Well, I have to say Stray Cats and Brian Setzer as my alltime favorites, then Johnny - the Man - Cash of course and Elvis - the one and only. Also the good old guys Burnette, Cochran, Vincent, Nelson, Perkins and Lee Lewis. I also have to mention the Taggy Tones - the band of my husband Jess (yeah I finally got him - became MRS. Rasmussen on New Years Eve 2005). And it's not only for the sake of the family peace ;o) - but those guys really rock my world! Check them out yourself on www.taggytones.dk or visit them here on MySpace: www.myspace.com/taggytones. Don't forget to add them! You can also reach me through this site as I'm the one trying to maintain it ;o) Also take a look at his other project Long Gone Daddies at www.myspace.com/longgonedaddies and last but not least... WHITE WEDDING BLACK CELEBRATION on www.myspace.com/glennstuart - a project where I'm doing some of the backing.Others I would like to mention - take a deep breath because the list is long - are: Chris Isaak, Buddy Holly, Ace Cats, Number Nine, Polecats, Shakin Stevens, Tiger Army, Wanda Jackson, Guana Batz, Lloyd Cole, The Cramps, Robert Gordon, Dave Edmunds, Reverend Horton Heat, Long Tall Texans, Billy Idol, Green Day, Horrorpops, The Clash, Morrisey, The Untamed, Gorilla, Mad Sin, Nekromantix, Demented Are Go, The Peacocks, The Living End, Boss Hoss and many many more. Just take a look in my darlings record collection! And as leftovers from the 80's/90's - I'm still in to The Cure, Depeche Mode and a local Danish band called Fielfraz. For the more silent moods it's Ray Charles, The Rat Pack - Dean, Frank and Sammy, Patsy Cline, Nina Simone, Billy Holliday and Dolly Parton that's on the turn table.

Der Untergang, The Shawshank Redemption, Rocky Horror Picture Show (allthough I like the theater version much better), O Brother - Where Art Thou?, Moulin Rouge, Baghdad Cafe, Shine, Cry Baby, Hedwig and The Angry Inch, Amelie, Wild at Heart, Bye Bye Lenin, Tim Burton movies (his colours and dark universe fascinates me) but especially Big Fish is wonderful, Priscilla - Queen of the Desert, Deuces Wild, To Wong Foo - Thanks For Everything Julie Newmar, The DaVinci Code, Peggy Sue Got Married, Kill Bill and Quentin Tarantino stuff in general.
