About Me

Hi... I’m LJ and I’m a singer songwriter from Baltimore in West Cork. I’ve been based in Dublin for the past 3 years, having moved here to study at Ballyfermot Colleges "Rock School" course.I had been playing acoustic gigs for a while before moving to Dublin, and since arriving here I’ve played in several bands while in college, gigging with bands and as an solo artist.I formed my current band after having worked with various musicians, and finally found the right people for the job with Simon Bushby, Emma Williams and Shane Walsh, with a few different drummers taking turns to keep the beat before current drummer Marcel Murphy joined in late 2007.Currently the band are on a break from gigging while we prepare to go record our debut EP in April 2008, but I’m preforming loads of solo sets around Dublin (dates & venues can be found on this page).
