About Me

Being is paradoxical and complimentary by nature. One can influence this balance to an extent by the application of Will in an evolutionary direction. Though, we are all free to be stupid, I choose to affect my efforts in an opposite direction. I am aware that I appear to contradict myself at times and make no apologies for this. I sometimes find that I am out of place in modern times, but I could be considered somewhat of a futurist. I am not politically correct, what ever that really is supposed to mean, but I try to be politically honest. Really politics only interest me on a novelty level, although I realize that they do have a place in my grand philosophical mission. I am fascinated by symbols and their seemingly innate or expressed power. My adopted definition of â€œsymbolsâ€ includes art, music, ritual, etc.. Tied hand in hand with my symbol fetish is obviously also an interest in the occult, itâ€™s vestiges, forms, and the old ways, including, but not limited to their glaring influence on the modern religious dogmas. I do advocate cutting out the middleman, as it is, in esoteric affairs; take that for what it is worth. When not investigating mysteries in the operating room I do enjoy taking the show on the road as a DJ, a multi-instrumentalist, a photographer, a historian, a conversationalist, and a drinker. I believe in good tips, and I will buy you a drink if we get along. I am polite until I am tread upon; though sometimes I leap before I look. I enjoy stories, telling, and receiving them, if you are good at it. My respect, and friendship is steadfast once realized, and I would only expect the same in return. There is still beauty in an otherwise ugly world, I shy away from neither, but prefer the former; just donâ€™t be fooled into thinking that I have the same definitions for it that you do.
